About
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and California, with many years of experience working with teens (16+), adults, couples, and families across various clinical settings. My approach to counseling is holistic, dynamic, and straightforward. I collaborate closely with clients to create a safe, supportive space for deep exploration and growth. Using a range of therapeutic approaches—including Psychodynamic Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, and Somatic Experiencing (SE)—I tailor my methods to support each individual's journey best. For couples and families, I apply the well-researched, empirically validated modality of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
I grew up in Jerusalem, Israel, where I served in the Israeli military and completed my undergraduate studies in sociology and education at Tel Aviv University. In 2001, I moved to San Francisco and graduated with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University) in Palo Alto, CA. My clinical experience spans roles as a Therapist and Clinical Supervisor in schools, residential treatment facilities, and non-profit agencies, working with teens and adults.
In 2015, I relocated with my husband and furry companions to Austin, where I opened my private practice. I am passionate about helping individuals feel more connected, compassionate, and accepting toward themselves and others. I believe that one of the biggest challenges in our society is the sense of isolation and disconnection, and I am deeply committed to fostering healing through connection and community.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, swimming in the beautiful lakes around Austin, engaging with community organizations, reading, and traveling.
